December 2007 Storm Pictures: Ocean Shores got hit pretty hard by the storm, but not nearly as bad as the other areas seen on the news like Centralia, Aberdeen, etc. I only saw two houses that got messed up here in OS pretty bad. They were both down by the North Jetty area. Damon State Park got it real bad. The parking lot was destroyed and who knows how it will surf now. Hopefully better. This shed wasn't built on a foundation and it tried running away... also down by the jetty. |
Also by the jetty, I don't know if these people were moving in or moving out, but as you can see, the foundation is below street grade. Very bad! |
